Net Coalition takes privacy seriously. This page explains exactly what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is used, and what choices you have. We try to keep it short and plain so you can actually read it.
Who we are
Net Coalition publishes independent gold and precious metals IRA research at https://www.netcoalition.com. The site is operated by Ice Cold Marketing, Inc., a Florida corporation. For any privacy question or request related to your data, email info@netcoalition.com.
What we do not collect
To make things clearer, here is what Net Coalition does not do:
- We do not require an account to read articles. There is no public user registration on this site.
- We do not run a comment section, so we do not store comments, profile pictures, or commenter IP addresses.
- We do not sell personal information to third parties under any circumstances.
- We do not run targeted advertising networks or behavioral ad retargeting on this site.
- We do not collect financial account information, Social Security numbers, or any other sensitive personal data through this website.
Information you provide directly
If you contact us through the contact form on the Contact page, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit. We use that information only to respond to you. We keep these messages in our email system as part of normal business correspondence. We do not use this information for marketing or share it with anyone else.
Information collected automatically
Like virtually every website, we collect some basic technical information when you visit:
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web server data including IP address, user agent (browser type and version), pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps. These logs help us understand site traffic patterns and investigate security or technical issues.
- Analytics. We use website analytics tools to understand which articles readers find useful and where traffic comes from. Analytics services typically use cookies and may collect an anonymized version of your IP address, the pages you view, and the time you spend on each page. We do not connect this analytics data to any personal identity.
- Cookies set by Net Coalition. Net Coalition itself sets only a small number of functional cookies, mainly to remember settings during your visit and to support our affiliate link tracking (see the next section).
Affiliate links and disclosure
Net Coalition is reader-supported. When you click certain links to gold IRA dealers, custodians, or related providers and then make a qualifying purchase or open an account, we may receive a referral commission from that provider. This is how we fund free, independent research for retirement investors.
When you click an affiliate link, two things may happen on the privacy side:
- Net Coalition’s link redirector may set a short-lived cookie to attribute your click correctly.
- The destination site (Augusta Precious Metals, Goldco, Noble Gold Investments, American Hartford Gold, Birch Gold Group, and similar) typically sets its own cookies and runs its own analytics under its own privacy policy. We do not control those third-party trackers.

Third-party services we rely on
Behind the scenes, Net Coalition uses a small set of third-party services to keep the site running and improve it over time. These services may receive standard server data (such as IP address and user agent) about visits to our site under their own privacy policies:
- Web hosting and server-level security (SiteGround).
- Website analytics provider (used to understand aggregate traffic patterns).
- Affiliate link tracking and click attribution.
- The dealer, custodian, or research partner whose link you click when you leave our site.
How we use information
- To respond to messages you send us through the contact form.
- To understand which articles and topics readers find useful so we can improve our coverage.
- To attribute affiliate referrals correctly and reconcile commissions with our partners.
- To protect the site against fraud, abuse, security threats, and technical errors.
- To comply with legal obligations where applicable.
How long we keep information
Contact form messages live in our email system for as long as the correspondence is relevant, typically up to two years. Server logs are rotated and discarded on the hosting provider’s standard schedule. Analytics data is retained per the analytics provider’s defaults. Affiliate click attribution cookies expire within the window required by the affiliate partner (typically 30 to 90 days).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have specific legal rights regarding your personal information. These can include the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you, and the right to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@netcoalition.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what categories of personal information are collected and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information. As noted above, Net Coalition does not sell personal information.
Residents of the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland have additional rights under the GDPR and similar regulations, including a right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Children
Net Coalition is intended for adult retirement investors and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use HTTPS encryption sitewide, server-level firewall protection, and standard hardening measures. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International data transfers
Net Coalition is operated from the United States. If you access the site from outside the United States, information collected through your use of the site may be processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the services we use, or applicable law. When we do, we update the Effective date at the top. For material changes, we will note the change near the top of the page for a reasonable period.
